Three Telecom is a brand name under which several UMTS-based mobile phone networks and Broadband Internet Providers are operated in Austria, Denmark, Hong Kong, Macau, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. The company was launched in 2002. As of August 2010 Three Telecom had worldwide over 27.8 million customers. Three Telecom Indonesia was launched in Indonesia in March 2007. Three Telecom Indonesia offers both pre-paid and post-paid services. As of April 2009, Three Telecom Indonesia had about 4.5 million customers on its GSM network.
